Course

Starting from Japan and successfully transferred all over the world, 5S is a foundation method to build and work in a scientific and convenient working environment, creating a premise to deploy advanced management system at enterprises. Applying 5S requires low cost and little resource and is suitable for all types and sizes of enterprises. Therefore, 5S implementation is becoming the needs of many Vietnamese enterprises / organizations in all sectors over the recent years.

Made in Vietnam 5S has been researched and introduced by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh. As a consultant, he has transferred this method to many businesses/ organizations ranging from manufacturing to service enterprises, from small and medium enterprises such as Le group, Julie Sandlau, Midway Metals, MK Smart … to large corporations like Truong Hai THACO Auto Corporation and so on.

With the desire to contribute to the improvement of the performance of production and business activities of Vietnamese enterprises/ organizations by implementing Made in Vietnam 5S, under the direct lectures of Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh, GKM Lean Institute would like to introduce the training course “APPLICATION OF THE Made in Vietnam Lean Management 5S INTO BUSINESS AND PRODUCTION”. Through the course entrepreneurs and managers will aim to:

  • Capture the key contents of 5S, the role and the practical meaning of 5S for their own businesses;
  • Method for enterprises to apply 5S effectively, turning 5S into business culture of each individual and the whole company.

This is a program developed by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh based on the combination of 14-year experience of living Japan and working at Toyota Group where 5S originated and the actual research and application of 5S in more than 300 domestic enterprises to develop the technology of 5S application in accordance with Vietnamese business characteristics: “Made in Vietnam 5S”.

Associate Professor Nguyen Dang Minh

 

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh graduated Master of Technique at Tokyo University  and obtained PhD. of Business Administration at Nagoya University, Japan. He has 8 years of experience of working at Toyota Japan as an expert and the project manager of Lean Management Deployment Project.

In Vietnam, he provides lectures and consultancy for many companies including THACO Truong Hai Auto Corporation, Mitsubishi Corp Vietnam, Anova, Novaland, MK Smart, Legroup, Julie Sandlau, Vietnam Paper Corporation (Vinapaco), Mitsubishi Corp Vietnam, Lao Cai Branch of Copper Refining Company, MECI, Agrimedia, Ecoba ENT, Tan Phat Automation JSC, Seico Group, SSP Moulding, Me Tran Binh Xuyen, Hanoi Plastic Bag JSC, Viet Chuan, NC Networks, PVN, Economica, Utech, AVC, Care Home, Seika Mart, Bac Ninh Multi-department Hospital, Hoan My International Hospital, Navy Medical Institute and so on.
