Course

Continuous improvement (Kaizen) is a management method, a business philosophy that has brought great success and competitive advantages to Japanese businesses throughout the years. With this philosophy, Made in Japan brands have satisfied all the most demanding customers around the world, and contributed greatly to the magical story of Japan’s development. In Vietnam, Kaizen was introduced with other management methods of Japan such as 5S, HORENSO, Visual Administration … The needs in studying and applying this method into practical production and business to improve quality and brand of Made in Vietnam products / services are also interested by many businesses.

Responding to that practical requirement, Made in Vietnam Management Kaizen (Kaizen) has been researched and transferred by Dr Nguyen Dang Minh in accordance with the practice of enterprises in Vietnam. At the same time, this method has been implemented through successful training and consulting programs in many businesses/ organizations ranging from manufacturing enterprises to service enterprises, from small and medium enterprises like Julie Sandlau, Midway Metals, MK Smart, Lao Cai  Copper Refinery Company, Phat, TID, Manutronics, Legroup … to large corporations like Truong Hai Auto Corporation and etc.

With the desire to contribute to improving the efficiency of production and business activities of Vietnamese enterprises/organizations by supporting the application/ implementation of ‘Made in Vietnam” Kaizen management, GKM Lean Institute would like to introduce the training course PPLICATION OF “made in vietnam” kaizen (CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT) for productivity improvement and sustainable development, under the direct teaching of Dr Nguyen Dang Minh.

Associate Professor Nguyen Dang Minh

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh graduated Master of Technique at Tokyo University  and obtained PhD. of Business Administration at Nagoya University, Japan. He has 8 years of experience of working at Toyota Japan as an expert and the project manager of Lean Management Deployment Project. He has completed 6 projects of  implementing Lean Management System, Toyota's production system to North America, Europe and China. There, he participated in teaching training on lean management, Kaizen, problem solving science, risk management, project implementation and business management skills   by the ways of Toyota Group for managers from many countries in the world belonging to the Toyota family.

In Vietnam, he provides lectures and consultancy for many companies including THACO Truong Hai Auto Corporation, GM Motor Vietnam, Legroup, Honda Lock Vietnam, Samsung Vietnam, Phu My Fertiliize Company, Julie Sandlau. Besides, he is invited lecturers on the Model of "Made in Vietnam" Lean Management and TAM THE Management in Japan. The businesses trained and consulted by him all respond with the  improving operational efficiency through some of the following main aspects:

  • Step by step changing thinking, forming an exciting working TAM THE, forming a lean working culture according to the thinking of "Made in Vietnam" Lean Management
  • Cutting tangible waste (scrap, inventory, input materials... etc).
  • Reducing intangible waste (improving methods and workflows), improving business performance.
