Green growth is a crucial issue of sustainable development. It is the process that links closely social-economic development and environmental protection, and helps meet the needs of sustainable growth.
GKM Lean Management Institute has been invited by Vietnam Climate Innovation Center (VCIC) to train enterprises operating in high tech agribusiness and experts in sustainable development models. VCIC is an organization that connects technology, markets and finance in the field of innovation and climate change response, promotes green development.
During the training session, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh – Chairman of GKM Lean Management Institute trained on a sustainable business development model based on Made in Vietnam lean management system. This is the management system that has been applied by enterprises in Vietnam such as Thaco Truong Hai Group, Viettel Construction Corporation, Tan Phat, etc. The management system has not only constructed a solid management foundation, but also provided tools to help enterprises operate effectively and sustainably. In the training session, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh concentrated on Made in Vietnam Human Resources model, and the core of that is Made in Vietnam lean recruitment, lean task assignment, lean human resources assessment, lean human resources development.
Mr Pham Duc Nghiem, Deputy General Director of National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) – Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), VCIC director at the same time – said this is a meaningful training course that provides a modern management model and management skills for Vietnamese enterprises to develop sustainably. Lawyer Phan Manh Tuan – an expert in institutional, policy and legal issues claimed that Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh had created an unique “Made in Vietnam” management school that deserves proud and dissemination. The management school had not only supported policymaking in the public sector, but also equipped Vietnamese enterprises with a steady business philosophy. Mr Vu Trung Kien – Director of Tan Nguyen commercial and investment joint stock company – said that it must be the first priority to change management thinking for a sustainable business development, and Made in Vietnam lean management is a system helps Vietnam enterprises obtain correct thinking. Ms. Kieu Oanh – Director of AOH healthcare company and Ms Yen Ngoc – Director of Song Anh company highly appreciate Made in Vietnam lean management gene. According to them, constructing enterprises is constructing a strong fence for enterprises. To conclude the training course, Ms. Le Thi Lan Anh – manager of VCIC programmes made a speech and thanked Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh for accepting to provide the training. This is a meaningful program for participating companies, so that they can understand and apply a pure Vietnamese management method toward sustainable development. VCIC will accompany with Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dang Minh to wide spread this management school with the expectation that many Vietnamese enterprises will be acknowledged and apply it for a bright Vietnam.
