Deploying the accompanying project for transferring The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology at Betoya Foods, Tokyo, Japan.

Cultivating good people before creating good products and services.
Preserving and steadily developing the essence of Vietnamese cuisine in Japan and internationally.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh, Founding Chairman of The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Institute (GKM Finest Management Institute)

In the context where domestic and global enterprises are facing major challenges regarding “human capital” and management capacity, Betoya Foods Joint Stock Company has become the first Japanese enterprise to pioneer the application of The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology (QTTG MIV) into its organizational and operational model. This is a significant milestone, affirming that the Made in Vietnam Creation Gene has spread strongly internationally, not only solving the management problem for Vietnamese enterprises but also contributing core values to the global enterprise ecosystem.

Betoya, Mission to Spread the Essence of Vietnamese Cuisine in Japan

Bearing the spirit of an international entrepreneur alongside the perseverance to overcome difficulties, CEO Take Hitonari (Vo Chi Nhan), a Japanese-Vietnamese expatriate, founded Betoya, a restaurant chain specializing in introducing traditional Vietnamese cuisine to international friends.

Currently, Betoya has developed into a restaurant system spanning around the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, most notably the outlet in the Ginza area, one of the busiest and most expensive districts in Japan. Betoya is not only a culinary brand but also a cultural ambassador, spreading the finest values of Vietnam in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Signing Ceremony and Launch of The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology Project at Betoya Foods.

On the morning of September 30, 2025, at the headquarters of Betoya Foods Company (Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), the Signing Ceremony of the accompanying cooperation agreement for transferring The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Technology (QTTG MIV) was solemnly held. The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh, Founding Chairman of GKM Finest Management Institute, and General Director Take Hitonari, representative of Betoya Foods, along with the company’s team of senior managers.Immediately after the signing ceremony, GKM Institute organized a training session and implementation of Gene 1 and Gene 2 of the QTTG MIV Technology for Betoya’s leadership and management levels.
This event marks a crucial turning point in the global dissemination journey of the QTTG MIV Gene, opening a new chapter in creating Vietnamese value in a G7 country.

Gene 1, Tâm Thế Management: Starting from the Internal Transformation of People

During the project launch event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh directly taught Gene 1, Tâm Thế Management. Previously, Betoya, like many other enterprises, primarily applied modern technocratic methods such as KPI and Western-style human resource management. However, these methods only helped the enterprises develop up to a certain limit and faced difficulties in breaking through and advancing toward the Finest level. After learning Tâm Thế, all members realized that true Management must help people change from the inside out, genuinely understanding that the work they are doing is primarily beneficial for themselves.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh affirmed: “We need to construct the Finest capability for Betoya people. The mission of the project is to elevate all Betoya people to be the Finest possible—the CEO to become the Finest CEO, the staff manager to become the Finest staff manager, the Pho-cooking manager to become the Finest Pho-cooking manager…

“The company is not only a place that brings material value but also a place that creates a career for every manager through the continuous enhancement of their Total Competency, aiming for the Finest level. I hope that even when the staff-level managers leave Betoya, they will still carry their own Finest career to continue their development journey” (Photo: GKM)..

Betoya Managers simultaneously raised their hands when Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh posed the question: ‘Who will commit to accompanying us to the end to change and become better?’ (Photo: GKM).

During the Gene 1, Tâm Thế Management training session, Betoya Managers were assigned the task of memorizing the “Tâm Thế” concept in just 20 minutes, a simple but meaningful challenge. Manager Kanamaru Tu shared: “Although Tâm Thế is very brief, I didn’t expect that memorizing Tâm Thế would be so difficult for many managers. Reading roughly is easy, but reading it without changing a single word is truly hard. Perhaps because we increasingly overuse tools like phones, computers, AI… too much, the ability to memorize and truly understand profound things becomes difficult. Since childhood, we used to memorize and cherish many good poems, but as we grow up, we gradually forget those Finest essences. Through this, I see that memorizing Tâm Thế is essential for advancing toward the Finest level and demonstrating that we truly grasp the Tâm Thế concept.”

In addition to teaching management, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh also imparted to the Managers The Philosophy of Five Values, national spirit, and the traditional essence of Vietnam and Japan. Many Managers gained profoundly cherished learnings and realizations after completing the session.

Manager Ha shared: “Learning Tâm Thế helped me understand what genuine Management is, and especially today I have gained national pride and understood my mission. Betoya is not only a place selling traditional Vietnamese food in the Land of the Rising Sun, but also a place selling the finest traditional Vietnamese culture to international friends. Therefore, I, along with the people of Betoya, need to become more Finest, truly grasping the finest traditional Vietnamese Culture as well as the Finest Japanese essence” (Photo: GKM).

Gene 2, The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Thinking: Identifying Waste, Aiming for Real Value

Following Gene 1, Gene 2, The Made in Vietnam Finest Management Thinking, is deployed to help Managers identify waste in their work and life, and thereby find the right path for their personal and company development journey.

Administrator Nguyen shared: “Although I have learned many management theories in Japan, MIV Finest Management is truly different and has the depth to help people understand themselves and each other, helping the organization to develop its internal capabilities to strive for excellence.”

Administrator Kanamaru Tu added: “We Vietnamese people have a lot of excellence, but it comes with points that need improvement. One of the biggest areas for improvement for Vietnamese people at Betoya is the oversized ego, which creates invisible barriers in relationships between people within the company, making it difficult for everyone to teach each other their professional quintessence.”

Therefore, I am very fond of the term ‘covering for each other’ (Bọc lót) rather than just ‘support,’ because ‘covering for each other’ helps Vietnamese people support one another at work and strive together towards Excellence, without pulling each other down. Currently, there are 500,000 Vietnamese people working and living in Japan, but the community here remains fragmented, clustered into small groups, and Vietnamese-owned businesses have not yet truly covered for one another. Studying MIV Finest Management has helped me understand how the Vietnamese community in Japan can cover for each other to achieve sustainable growth and elevate the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine in the eyes of international friends.

The MIV Finest Management Technology: From Vietnam to the World

Over the past decade, The MIV Finest Management Technology has proven its effectiveness across thousands of businesses. This time, in partnership with Betoya Japan, The MIV Finest Management Technology continues to be transferred and applied directly to the management of the Betoya chain. The goal is to enhance the Five Core Values and the S.Q.C.D.E indices, thereby building a solid management foundation and affirming the Vietnamese identity in Japan specifically and the world at large.

The MIV Finest Management Technology not only contributes to a new, solid development direction for Betoya but also marks a strategic step in the journey of bringing The MIV Finest Management Technology to the world, helping to shape a new face for businesses in Japan and internationally. The GKM * Betoya project is not just a collaboration in management but also a symbol of the spirit of building good people before building good products and services. It is a living testament to the vision of Vietnamese Management Creating Global Value.
